Emilie Sauvage

Emilie is a postdoc at the UCL – Institute of Cardiovascular Science. She obtained her PhD from Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve after working on computational blood flow models for lower limb graft bypasses. Among her research interests are computational methods for biofluid mechanics, fluid-structure simulation of congenital heart disease and medical device design. Her current research project is funded by Action Medical Research and investigates medical device design for cyanotic congenital heart disease.

In 2016, she had the opportunity to participate to the Translational Medicine course organized by Summer School in Utrecht and is always keen to ensure that her research findings benefit the patient.
